Rachel is a Clinical Oncology Registrar in South Yorkshire and has recently joined the Improvement Academy as a Clinical Leadership Fellow. She is passionate about patient safety, with particular interests in how culture and behaviour can impact this.

This year she will be working closely with the patient safety collaborative in the deterioration workstream supporting the implementation of the Martha’s Rule pilot across the region. She will also be supporting work on learning from patient safety events within the Learning from Deaths programme. Alongside her Leadership Fellowship Rachel will also be undertaking a post-graduate certificate in Healthcare Leadership.
