Quality Improvement Trainers Network

Share

In A Nutshell:

This is designed for those who have completed the Gold Quality Improvement Training and are training/coaching others in their organisation in quality improvement approaches.

Who is the network for?

Those who have completed ‘Gold’ ‘train the trainer’ quality improvement training and have a role in their organisations to train/coach others in quality improvement approaches.

Our network aims to:

  • Share ideas and materials for training/coaching QI
  • Provide personal professional development,
  • Address training and support needs of QITN members.

When do we meet? virtual meetings take place twice a year.

How the network started

After the first cohort of Gold QI Training was completed in 2015, the network started as a way of continuous learning for coaches who were beginning to practice their training and coaching skills in their own organisations. The QITN network now has 100 active members from NHS and Social care organisations throughout the UK. This dynamic group meets virtually to share ideas and materials and attend continuous professional development sessions.

Our QITNs also have access to an annual virtual developmental meeting with an Improvement Academy trainer, to discuss their progress and agree on any future training or support needs.
