Lizzie joined the Improvement Academy in 2020 as a Clinical Leadership Fellow and now leads the Managing Deterioration workstream of the Patient Safety Collaborative. Within the Managing Deterioration workstream, there is a focus on improving the prevention, identification, escalation and response to physical deterioration of patients across all care settings, where Lizzie uses her frontline experience as a GP to lead the team.

Lizzie is passionate about supporting staff who work in health or social care, with a particular interest in just culture.
