Steve has been a registered mental health nurse for over 20 years. He has held a variety of clinical, leadership, and managerial positions within the NHS, including his role as a specialist advisor for the Care Quality Commission.

Steve is also a trained and experienced healthcare safety investigator and has worked with Mental Health Trusts, completing investigations, coaching others through the investigation process, and producing safety reports.

Currently, Steve facilitates safety investigator training across a number of industries and is working towards technical membership of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors.
