Lizzie joined the Improvement Academy in 2020 as a Clinical Leadership Fellow and continues to be a Work Stream Lead for the Patient Safety Collaborative. Her broad experience as a GP allows her to work across all the priority areas, leading the Managing Deterioration priority. She hosts our ‘Care Home Support Network’ for colleagues in quality and safety who support care homes across Yorkshire & the Humber.

Lizzie is passionate about supporting staff, whether that be in health or social care, after leading the Just Culture Network during her fellowship year. She continues to lead the Just Culture programme, and works closely with academics at Yorkshire Quality and Safety Research Group to translate research into practice in this area.
