“Attending the QI silver training has improved my practical knowledge of the PDSA process and how I can implement it in my work.”

Anna Love is the Falls Practitioner for Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. Her role includes managing the quality improvement project plan, coordinating the specialised work stream, liaising
with external stakeholders, feeding back to board level and training with frontline staff. Her current project is around Falls Improvement.

After attending the Silver QI Training in November, Anna feels more focused with her individual projects. Anna also felt that the course was a good networking opportunity to meet other health professionals in the area and share resources. The course gave Anna insight into the different barriers for improvement work and improved her practical knowledge of the PDSA process, which she hopes to implement in her work.

Anna attended the Improvement Academy Silver Quality Improvement training day, funded through the Yorkshire and Humber AHSN on 19th November 2018.
