Prof Mohammed A Mohammed is Professor of Healthcare, Quality & Effectiveness in the School of Health Studies at the University of Bradford. Since 2014 he has also been Deputy Director of Bradford Institute for Health Research, supporting both the Improvement Academy and the Born in Bradford cohort research programme.

His main areas of interest are health care quality, performance monitoring (especially hospital mortality statistics), league tables and more generally health services research. He has extensive experience in health care quality in both primary and secondary care.
