Allyson Kent is Mortality Improvement Fellow with the Improvement Academy, focussing particularly on mental health, learning disability and community services. Allyson was Assistant Director of Nursing at a combined Trust providing Mental Health/Learning Disability/Forensic and Community Services Trust where she pioneered use of the Structured Judgement Review method to improve care. She is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists expert reference group on the Mental Health Learning from Deaths Tool and has been a member of the Yorkshire and Humber regional mortality steering group for the past 4 years. Allyson is a Queen’s Nurse and is passionate about nursing and networking to share, inspire, improve and learn.
