Natalie Jackson - Health Informatics Senior Project Manager

Natalie joined the Improvement Academy in May 2015 as project manager for the CARS project, a research project to develop, embed and evaluate the impact of a computer aided risk Score (CARS) into routine clinical practice. The project is supported by the Health Foundation’s Insight 2014 programme for research on informatics in health care improvement. In addition she is working on the AKI scaling up project.

Natalie has over 6 years’ experience working with NHS organisations, most recently as a project manager at the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence’s International team supporting a variety of projects including improving quality care through development and application of locally adapted clinical practice pathways in Vietnam, and priority-setting for universal health coverage in India. She also has experience working in postgraduate medical and dental training and was part of the development and implementation team at the Commissioning Board Authority, working in the programme management office.
